Creative Direction & visual identity
In this project, I led the initiative from concept through to execution, encompassing art direction, design, and photography. Partnering closely with the Royal Danish Theatre’s talented performers, my goal was to create a unique visual sub-identity that would captivate a younger audience and enhance their engagement with the theatre.
To achieve this, I focused on integrating tactile elements and sensory experiences, using photography to evoke authentic human emotions and make the theatre experience more compelling and relatable for a younger demographic. I did the photography myself assisted by a professional photographer helping with the light.
Working closely with soloist ballet dancers Astrid Elbo and Jonathan Clemensky afforded me the opportunity to delve deeply into the nuances of their craft. Through collaborative exploration and experimentation, I strove to capture the essence of their performances in a series of evocative images.

The Royal Danish Acting Department
My collaboration with Simon Bennebjerg and the acting department of the Royal Danish Theatre yielded a series of compelling images that captured the essence of theatrical performance in all its complexity. Through my visual storytelling, I aimed to invite audiences to engage with the power and magic of live theatre, experiencing the full spectrum of human emotion and expression.
